If you manage multiple e-mail accounts or handle a large volume of messages, Spark is a suitable solution. This mail app is designed around a smart inbox to help organise your e-mails efficiently. The free version of Spark is available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. It is also compatible with Windows and Android.
You can download Spark from the official website.
The procedures described and screenshots shown are based on the free version of Spark (3.26.0). They may differ in other versions of Spark.
1. Once you have downloaded Spark, launch the application.
2. On your first launch, you will typically be prompted to set up your e-mail account right away. Enter the e-mail account you want to set up in the 'Enter your email' field.
Spark Privacy Policy
Note that by using Spark, you agree to their privacy policy, which may involve sending (meta)data about your e-mails and usage to their servers in the U.S.
3. Complete the required fields on the next page and clock 'Log in'.
4. Spark will attempt to automatically detect and configure your e-mail account using the information provided. If the automatic configuration succeeds, your account will be added without requiring further input. If it fails, Spark will display an error and prompt you to enter the missing settings manually.
5. If you click 'Additional Settings' instead of 'Log in', Spark will bypass the automatic configuration and allow you to manually enter all the account details, such as the incoming (IMAP/POP) and outgoing (SMTP) server settings, ports, and authentication method. This is useful if automatic detection fails or if you need to use custom server settings.

Adding an extra account
You can manage multiple e-mail accounts within Spark, allowing you to send and receive messages from all your addresses in one place. Follow the steps below to add another mailbox to your account setup.
1. Launch Spark, then go to the menu bar at the top of your screen and select 'Accounts'. This will open the account management window, where you can view all your currently added e-mail accounts, make changes to existing accounts, or add new ones.
2. Click 'Add an Account' to begin adding another mailbox. Follow the same steps as you did for your first account, and either allow Spark to configure the settings automatically or enter them manually if needed.
3. Once completed, the new account will appear alongside your existing accounts, allowing you to access and manage multiple mailboxes from a single interface.
